Costa Rica Election Results – President Laura Chinchilla

The news is reporting early results as of 6pm Central American time, Laura Chinchilla and the PLN and received 52% of vote. Otto received 20% and Otton Solis 22%.  As predicted Laura Chinchilla will win the Costa Rica Presidential Elections. Laura Chinchilla will be the first female president in Costa Rica.

All candidates are at their respective campaign headquarters filled with supporters, news media, and volunteers. Nobody as of yet has conceded the election but that should change in the next few hours as more and more results get reported to the TSE, which is Costa Rica’s election authority.
