Es increíble cómo las personas piensan que tienen derecho a la ayuda del gobierno. Tengo cero dinero y un niño. ¿Quién cuida de mí? Yo trabajo para que yo pueda ganar dinero. No tener hijos si no los puede mantener. Esta señora tiene acceso a Internet o puede darse el lujo de pagar por el acceso. Ella sabe lo suficiente para usar la computadora, también. Estoy tan cansado de escuchar cómo los pobres son. Por favor, si alguien quiere enviarme dinero para ayudar a enviar a mi hijo a la escuela por favor, responda y voy a dar cuenta de banco.

Hola..señora presidenta permita me darles un buen saludo y ala vez comentarle porque le escribo ´,soy una mujer que en estos momento necesita de su ayuda tengo cuatro hijos menores de once años,estoy en unión libre mi compañero se llama…… Aléxander Chavez Barquero, somos de Guanacaste cantón tiláran tenemos una situación por la cual estamos pasando economica mente,ase unos meses no teniamos donde vivir aora arquilamos vivo casi cento frente la clinica yo la imbito a conoser mi umilde hogar somos pobres total mente bajos recursos vivo debajo de la señora que me arquila ,muy mal estado se encuentra la casita no tiene divisiones baño y cerbisio sanitario nada esta en buen estado auque le estamos agradesidos por arquilarnos y su vondad .Yo estoy desesperada no tengo en que dormir,ni cosinar las cositas que tengo ni sirben ya,. diculpeme pero es la verda y la realida, yo la invito aque lo vea por usted misma,y suprico de su ayuda para obtener un techo digno hay veses que no tenemos para comer ,donde nos acostamos sin probar nada Yo agradesco que Dios nos bendise hay veses pero savemos que no es una buena alimentasión para los niños, Señora presidenta esperamos su respuesta y agradesco su a tensión que Dios toque su corrazón y la vendiga mucho mas gracias……

You people are living in a glass bubble if you think that foreigners are the majority owners of tico land. I can 110% assure you that the ownership of the majority of land in Costa Rica and those who are “land barons” are ticos and not “gringos”

This idea that foreigners come to Costa Rica and rape the people is a totally false claim and one that is based on stupidity. It is another liberal media bias which always portrays the US citizen as an aggressor when in fact, it is our government and State Dept which is the aggressor. Do you think I sign the checks that pay for 10K men deployments to Iraq? Do you think any person coming to Costa Rica signs those checks? It is always so fun to trash the gringos but when it comes down to it, the US is the ones who show up when Costa Rica needs help…. PERIOD

Just take a look at the public record over the last ten years of money given to Costa Rica by the US government and how willingly they accepted it.

HINT: The Autopista del Sol has ZERO let me put this in numerical figures “0″ dollar investment from North Americans and the owners of the land along the route are all ticos or Spaniards.

This idea that US citizens are a thorn or opportunist plunderer in Costa Rica is a flat lie and this thinking is the exact reason why ticos think it is acceptable to steal from tourists, when in fact, they are bringing jobs and money into the country.

Cecilia you are wrong and so backwards you must have been burned by someone to make you think such stupid things

Los pobres seran olbidos por el govierno, mientras los millonarios extranjeros compran nuestras tierras por nada y los mismos ticos partisipan, creyendo que sus necesidades hoy seran sustentadas sin pensar en el manana y los hijos y nietos del futuro.
Si hay una solucion y ya ba de camino pero no biene del govierno y de los extranjeros, sino de la promesa de Dios.
Aquellos encontrados fieles veran con sus ojos y sentiran en sus familias la felizidad de tener su casa propia las promesas de Dios para el que cree llegara a pasar, lo se 100%.
Pobre es el que no ve ni tiene entendimiento o oido para escuchar, y su fe esta puesta en el govierno o su pandilla.
Quien te dio el sustento por toda tu vida y te a mantenido con vida, entonces de que te quejas, mas ningun millonario se llebara nada cunado muera. tansolo los malos echos que cometio contra los hijos de Dios.

shes not 50 shes 52 if she was born in 1959 then shes 52 look at this

1959 + 40yrs = 1999…so she was 40 in 1999
1999 +10yrs= 2009 and 40 + 10 is 50 so she was 50 in 2009 and we just passed 2011 so 50 plus 2 more yrs is 52 yrs. so yea she 52 and this year (2012) she will be 53

This post is complete ignorance on your part. As someone who just spent 2 weeks there this summer I am ashamed of a fellow American that would say something they know nothing about. Costa Rica is the most nature friendly country I have ever been too….there are more natural reserves than anywhere in the world….and they help save the turtles, they don’t eat their eggs or harm them. Really? You should really do your homework before you post anything the public can see. Unfortunately this is one of the weaknesses of the internet…it allows just any ignorant individual (who obviously doesn’t travel much outside of their own bubble) to show the world just how uneducated they are. To be honest, you are the kind of person/tourist my husband and I avoid on trips so as not to be stereotyped as those ugly Americans….so truly…you staying in your bubble is better for the rest of us who choose to see the world before we judge it.
